Visually-challenged students all set to let it rip at dhol-tasha

PUNE: Like other dhol-tasha troupes in the city, one more troupe is practising hard for the oncoming Ganesh festival. The only difference is – these artists are visually challenged.
The Poona School and Home for Blind Trust at Koregaon Park reverberates with the sounds of the dhol and the tasha as a troupe of 40 students practice for their debut at the festival. They will be performing on the first day of the festival and also during the immersion procession on Laxmi road.
